New Intercity Trains coming to the Sligo to Dublin Railway line (2007)
here is the new Intercity train stock coming soon on the Sligo to Dublin Railway line in the Northwest of Ireland in 2007
They are 22000 Class InterCity Diesel multiple units
replacing the (uncomfortable on long journeys) 29000 Class “Commuter” trains :

(previously before that some aging Class 141 Diesels that were very unreliable, always breaking down on trips or before setting off! – but the carriages (which I think were Craven coaches?) were (if very outdated) had lovely comfortable seats and comfortable suspension
The new class 22000 came online in December 2007 – offered comfort, smoother, air conditioned cars and reliability.
