My Daughter Lucy’s Wedding….

 Today (13 Sept 2025) one proudest father ever (that would be me!) gave away my beautiful Daughter Lucy to her long time partner Laurence.

what a fantastic day , everything went smoothly like clockwork . It was an event full of quirkiness, but also emotional and poignant and funny moments and it all fitted together perfectly.

With a day full of rain all of a sudden the Sun came out on the grounds of venue and we got some lovely pictures.

Their official photographer took their photo’s up in the beautiful setting of the Gleniff Horseshoe in County Sligo.

My worries of being the Brides father and walking her down the aisle and stepping on her dress or tripping up or doing or saying something that would embarrass her thankfully never surfaced and all went smooth , even the speeches. To be honest even though I did not personally know a lot of the people there (their friends and work colleagues etc..) they were all such a great crowd and so friendly you just thought you were meeting up with friends.

And we all gave it a good go on the dance floor later with some moves lol (me mainly Dad Dancing of course)
